We have a four month old Golden Retriever puppy, which we became the proud owners of in October.
This is the first puppy we have had, and even though we read up as much as we could, still felt we were a little clueless. We have phoned on a couple of occasions for advice, and have always been given time and reassurance. We took out the Premier Health Plan, and it is not only value for money, but the fact that we are contacted to remind us when we need to come in for worming tablets etc is invaluable.
When we have been in, all staff have been extremely polite, friendly and welcoming, and have made our early puppy-owning days and lot less stressful. I cannot recommend Parkhill highly enough.

I wished to email on behalf of myself, my husband and Kai, to say a huge thank you to everyone working at the surgery following Kai's treatment yesterday.
Kai had a severely infected tooth which required extraction and actually transpired to be cracked.
This was the first time either of us had needed to put one of our dogs through a surgical procedure so needless to say we were quite nervous about what to expect. From the consultation to the after care advice, we have received excellent service from reception staff, nurses and vets alike who have all been so friendly and helpful I left Kai at the surgery for his operation 100% confident that he was in safe and caring hands.
Upon picking him up despite having just had surgery Kai seemed happy and relaxed (if not a bit over excited to see us!) and we were particularly pleased to hear the staff had been fussing him and treating him like a pet who is loved rather than an animal on a conveyor belt in and out of surgery - he had clearly received excellent care, and both me and my husband feel very lucky to have such a fantastic surgery in our area.
Aside from the actual service we received from staff, your prices are extremely reasonable, and we were happy to see the surgery had taken the amount of time we had been quoted for, though I understand that complications can mean this isn't always the case, it reassures us that we received an honest quote for the treatment. We also paid for a scale and polish which was worth every single penny - Kai has lovely fresh breath and immaculate teeth once again. We were also impressed to see that time had been taken to print out a proper after care sheet especially for Kai in his name which we found really useful when we brought him home last night.
We are returning on Friday for Kai's post surgery check up, but for the meantime I wish to say thank you and pass on our gratitude for taking such great care of one of our family members!
The client event "caring for senior animals" was a very enjoyable and informative evening. My dog Tia has unfortunately been ill from a young age and I have needed all the services the practice offers. During the evening I was shown around 'behind the scenes' this was extremely reassuring. I know Tia is in professional hands and with the most up to date equipment & technology she now has every chance of living a long happy life. I would recommend the events to all.
