Emergency service

Our emergency service operates out of the practice site on Hallfield Lane.

The general trend with many practices nowadays is to pass their emergency cover to more distant practices who run an out of hours service. We believe our clients and their pets would prefer to come to the practice they know, are seen by a vet they know and have the peace of mind that they do not have to waste time travelling greater distances in an emergency situation.

We have equipped our practice to be able to deal with any emergency and are self sufficient when it comes to running emergency blood tests or other diagnostic procedures. In addition to the above we feel that having immediate access to an animals case history can be vital in an emergency situation. This can only be possible when your pet is seen at its regular practice.

We have a vet and a nurse on call for nights, weekends and bank holidays. Our emergency telephone is answered by a dedicated call service so you will speak to a real person, not an automated recording.
