At Parkhill Vets we have invested in 5 endoscopes of assorted diameters and lengths to use in the practice and routinely carry out a range of endoscopic investigations from rhinoscopy and cystoscopy to gastroscopy and bronchoscopy.
We have several specifically designed instruments that can be passed through a biopsy channel on the scopes to obtain biopsies, diagnostic washes or remove foreign bodies.
Many chronic conditions of the upper and lower respiratory tracts, gastrointestinal tract and lower urinary tracts require endoscopy and endoscopic biopsies to get a diagnosis.
Since equipping the practice in Wetherby with our range of scopes we can work most cases through to a diagnosis and get them on to the appropriate treatment.
